My shoes… (procrastinating)

Yesterday I was talking to my friend (didi) on Viber and randomly we got to a point where we were talking about shoes. I then counted mine and I had a total of 11 pairs and I am at Uni right now, and only got my wintery shoes (well.. except for one!). So I just wanted make a small post about my current shoe collection. I got a presentation tomorrow and an accounting test on Wednesday, but oh well… anything's interesting except course work! Ps. Procrastination at its best!

OLD POST: June 2012 update..

The following post is from a blog that I created many yrs ago....

I had my b'day yesterday, turned 21. I feel old.. :/ oh well diesn't really matter... I abseiled from 130+ feet height which was beyong awesome.... One thing off my bucket list...! :D ani also I had a lovely time with my family and Raj Kumar uncle family... all the momos, Bible quiz and loud laughter.... I feel so blessed. Mumny bought me special cake. Love her sooo much! <3
So.. 6 days to go to Hong Kong!!!! Super excited :D  got the ticket, visa, gifts... everything.. Now just got two horrid exams to get over with.... :(
And... Proud to say tht I finished watching Rooftop prince, Korean drama <3 I loved it... Although I wasn't satisfied with the ending... I wanted Park Ha and the actual past time's prince to be together... The reincarnated guy didn't satisfy my desire for them to end up that way... :( but apart from that everything else was great! Also I'm watching Big, even though I HATE watching drama as they air... The lead guy is an exception... I love coffee prince guy... (terrible with korean names -.-') <3 the plot seems interesting but don't like the main girl's character... I like her but love Suzy's character more.... she and the lil guy in come would look so cute! ^-^
Anyway I gotta revise lots if I want to pass the exams...!

OLD POST: airtickets to HK!

so.. its been more than a month that I have last blogged. I am very excited right now because I am very close to buying the air tickets to Hong Kong, the land I was born. Lol… =) but yea my mummy is paying for the transport and my uncles (3 of my 4 mom’s brothers who are in HK) are going to fund our (me and my two sisters’) stay in HK. How great is that. So blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. ^.^

Anyway I’ve looking through sooo many websites to get the best deal for tickets and I got one for £450 from England to HK (so cheap!) but the catch is it’s boarding from London Gatwick Airport and not from the usual Heathrow Airport but that isn’t going to be a problem because there’s a direct train from Reading to Gatwick so the deal’s wayyyyy cheaper than I had initially thought. So, yea…. Going to HK this summer.. Back to the country I was born after 13 frigging years! Omg… sooo excited >.<

So yea... this is another of my blog where I have decided to write about my travels... Just on the days when I feel bored and want to do something productive. Instead of procrastination I could create a sort of memoirs of places I have traveled in the past and where I want to go in the future...

I have a total of three blogs and its quiet difficult to keep up with them but I do it for myself so that I can how far I have come up in life.... Somedays I just get hooked up in fb checking out the albums I had poseted ages ago... I like remembering the past,,, all the happy times as well as the sad ones,,,, =) no memory is a bad memory for me... the past is the reason for what I am today and I am happy with what I am today [ although I really think I need to hit the gym asap!! lol X) ]

Anyways... This one time I had written a letter to future my self,,,, I was 15 I think and it was for 30 yr old me,,, But I didn't have the patience... I opened it after 3 yrs... =( and I guess these blogs will help me see what I was like in the past when I will see this in the future.... it'll be fun! :)

ANYWAYS!!! wht i juss wanted to write initially was that I love travelling.. alone or not.... and am hoping to go to HK this summer [2012]... need to start saving up... am also planning to crate a video vlog for myself and family... Like a typical asian family, I have a lot of home videos of me and my cuzzie's vacation in HK when i was 8 and my sis 4... it's the best time in my life.... and since I might be able to go to HK this summer... I want to have fun to the max... yeay... I shall start making list of places to go and thing to do soon... =)

Being the lazy person I am... The last time I wrote sth was 6 months ago…! [oh my daysss right?] So lots of things have happened in between… countless exciting and fun stuff and some sad things… But the most exciting thing is I’ve been to Nepal and back! =) [I m writing this in my media lesson btw... ;) ]

Nepal is the most amazing place for me because I have lived most of my life there. Even if there’s load shedding, crappy public transportation service, stalker-ish people, dusty roads and unmanaged traffic, a home is a home. =D

Born in Hong Kong, growing up in Nepal and now living here in UK my life does seem interesting [well.. compared to this one person I came to know who had been living in England all her life and had only been to London two times….O_O Shocking? I know!! lol] And now I have decided to make a bucket list for myself. It was in my mind for a long time now but this time I will definitely make one and hopefully do the stuff on my bucket list.

Been using tumblr a lot well. I think I use it more than facebook. I love tumblr! And it was on tumblr that I came across an account which makes bucket list posts. I’ve been following it for a while and saved a lot of pics from there… I want to post them here but m not sure if I am allowed to… maybe they have copyright stuff…. But they're so pretty-ily made… Ahh wht the hell… I will just post the pics….

Hunger games! The books, those amazing books are what’s taking all my time this week. I love this series! I love Katniss and Peeta, the plot, the characters, everything! And the awesome thing is the movie is coming soon, as in really soon. I am so glad that I didn’t have the chance to read these books before because I am the most impatient person ever and waiting for the movies would be terrible. I but still I am not happy that the sequel to this movie is only coming out August of 2013! How on earth will I be able to survive???? :’(

Talking about the movie, they have casted the perfect main lead. They couldn’t get more better Katniss or Peeta. I love both Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson and can’t wait to see how they will portray my favourite character and the chemistry between them. The trailer seems amazing as well! Simply-can’t-wait! =D

3. people who think too highly about themselves... it's ok when other people praise you but if a person starts to praise themselves I try and stay away from them as far as possible.. am not the type of person who can stand other ppl's ego... but then I am a Gemini... it really depends upon my ever-changing mood... sometime I might just as well stand them but MOST of the time I just won't.... I am better off being alone...

So... i m goin back to nepal today after one and a half yr!!! i m soooo EXCITED!!! well not really... not until this morning but wen i woke up i saw lovely msgs in my fb inbox and i felt reallly excited to be in nepal... although all my parents and family are in here in england i can't wait to go to nepal to experience all the carefree-ness and all the awesome-nesss..... Nepal is AWESOME!!! even though there are bandhs... load sheddings.... mosquitoess.. [<< sp mistake i guess but as long as it's understandable i don;t care abt my grammar and punctuations etc...] and the scorching heat.... but i jusss love my country.... it's the best... compared to this "health & safety obsessed" country... nepalis are cool... i hav ssooooo many stuff in my "things-to-do" list for my 2 month visit.... bunjy jumping.. para gliding and trekking are some of 'em which i MUST do... i can't wait... i've got soo many friends to meet... [they'll be going to different countries to study this yr... some of 'em aren't even in nepal anymore... :'( ] besides all the meeting friends and adventures i plann to do i m hoping to do some voluntary work as well... in habitat for humanity if possible... i want to do smthing worth while.... :D

i m planning to travel alone... which many ppl think it's weird or sad but i hav no problem with it at all... i love being on my self... mero baini tells me tht i m a loner... i guess i m... ani as long as i m happy it really dsn matter if i go alone or not....  :D

hope my flight goes smoothly ani there are good movies to watch!!!

#4 My day: 7.3.2013 (injections, visas and London)

            My day started at 10:20am. I had GP appointment at 10:40! I was late! Hurriedly I did my bathroom business, changed clothes and ran to GP; thank God it's only 5mins away. Took the travel vaccination jabs on each of my arms. It was painful! :( Ran back home and quickly dressed up and made my way to Reading town. I had yet another appointment... with the optician. Arrived on time..all went well except for the fact that my eyes have become worse! =( but I was told they are healthy (so yeay?? o.O).

           Then met up with my friend Shadip at the station and went to London. First went to Great Portland Street to collect my passport and visa to Kenya. (so defo going to Kenya!! woop woop!).

           Called Purnima di and she told us she was on her way so we decided to go to Chinatown and eat something cuz I was hungry and had nothing since morning.... and did accordingly. Ate the heavenly pork bun and custard bun. I was full.

           Met Purnima di in Waterloo and made our way to one of my personal fav destination in London; Camden Town! =) There we walked, walked, walked through the wonderful market and shopped a little.... also took some photos. (o ya, I was picking one of the horses' nose... ) It was fun.

          We wanted to eat something there but unfortunately it was time for the market to close so decided to go to Chinatown for dinner as I wanted to go there anyway to buy the chinese cake... Ate at a place called Golden Pagoda Chinese Restaurant. Food was good. They made the curry spicy as we had requested to and were quiet friendly. After that bought the cakes and some pork buns, rode on the tube to Paddington and returned to Reading.

                 I love Korean dramas.

                 I love it although I don't eat, drink, sleep or breathe Korean drama like some people do... (seriously I think they have some problem! Comeon!! Who has the time? One drama is minimum 16 eps; each about 1hr long! Gosh!) Anyways... Let me list the ones I've watched till date and in the end's my top 5 fav ones...  =)

• I am Phoebe, living in Reading, England. 
• I think my life's boring.
